Why did you decide to migrate the ELI token?

We aim to facilitate cheaper and faster transactions. Bitcoin Cash is known for minimum transaction costs. Its unique blockchain consensus mechanism also enables transaction confirmations even before the transactions are included in the next block. This is very important for a fast shopping experience at local and online stores. The migration will enable GoC users even faster in-store payments with many additional wallets.



What does the migration mean for me?

You need to migrate your ELI tokens to GoC tokens. In order to do so, you will need to send your ELI tokens to a deposit address to then receive the same amount in GoC (SLP - Bitcoin Cash blockchain compliant) tokens. All the necessary steps you need to take are listed below and explained in detail. Please read them carefully.



When will the migration take place?

The migration process started on November 25, 2019 at 23:00 CET and is open until May 31, 2020 (24:00 CET). Please note, however, that after the end of the migration period, all non-migrated ELI tokens will be permanently locked. Untradeable, lost, worthless, gone forever. So please take some time and complete the migration process before that date. We will keep reminding our community of the migration to make sure that everyone migrates in time. So do not forget to change your tokens in time.



I store ELIs in the Elly (former Elipay) wallet. Do I have to do anything?

No. If you had your ELI tokens in the Elly wallet (previously Elipay wallet) before the migration start on November 25, 2019 at 23:00 CET, you don’t have to do anything. The ELIs in your Elly wallet have already been migrated to GoC.



I store ELIs on the Tokens exchange (tokens.net). Do I have to do anything?

No. If you had your ELI tokens on the Tokens exchange (tokens.net) before the migration started on November 25, 2019 at 23:00 CET, you don’t have to do anything. The ELIs have already been migrated to GoC.



I store ELIs in other wallets. What do I have to do?

You need to migrate your ELI tokens to GoC tokens. Please start the migration process.



How do I migrate my ELI tokens to GoC tokens?

If your ELI tokens were not automatically migrated to GoC in the Elly wallet or on the tokens.net exchange, you need to start the migration process. It is fairly simple. Please complete it before May 31, 2020 (24:00 CET).



Does the migration cost me anything?

Please note that, for transferring the ELI tokens, you need a small amount of Ether on your wallet for the transaction gas.



How do I know if my ELI tokens automatically migrated to GoC?

If you had your ELI tokens in your Elly (previously Elipay) wallet or on the Tokens exchange (tokens.net) on November 25, 2019 at 23:00 CET, the process is completed. Your ELI tokens have automatically migrated to GoC tokens. You don’t have to do anything.

What happens if I do nothing?

If your ELI tokens were not automatically migrated to GoC on the Elly wallet (previously Elipay) or on the tokens.net exchange on November 25, 2019 at 23:00 CET (in other words, if you store your ELI tokens in other wallets or on other exchanges) and you do not complete the migration process before May 31, 2020 24:00 CET, all your ELI tokens will forever be lost, untradable, locked and worthless. So we strongly advise you start the migration process and migrate your ELI tokens in time.



What happens to ELI tokens that are not migrated to GoC?

After the end of the migration period on May 31, 2020 24:00 CET, all non-migrated ELI tokens will be permanently locked. Untradeable, lost, worthless. So please allow yourself enough time to complete the migration process in time.



How do I check the migration status?

In order to check if the migration of your ELI tokens was successful and if you have already received your GoC tokens, please click the link below.

Check transactions

You will have to copy the SLP address from your Badger Wallet and paste it into the provided field. Then, the transactions of the ELI tokens and GoC tokens associated with your SLP address will be shown. For each deposit of ELI tokens, one transaction should be visible on the Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash networks.
